The CAVOK Center is authorized by AFAN as an official English certification center for pilots (AFAN Center No. 150).
How the AELP Test Is Administered
The test assesses knowledge and understanding of the English language, both in general and in the aviation context, through a clear and progressive structure.
Step 1: Introductory Questions
An initial phase designed to assess students' general proficiency in English
Step 2: Messages to Listen to and Interpret
Ten messages to listen to and then repeat, decipher, or explain
Step 3: Fill in the blanks
A test modeled after the IELTS and Cambridge standards, which serve as the basis for ICAO exams.
Step 4: Analysis of Images and Situations
Two photos to use in answering questions about possible scenarios that could occur in the aviation field, including both standard and emergency situations.
